Kangatraining

A class for YOU mama!

Kangatraining is a complete workout you can do with baby. As well as the physical benefits, Kangatraining is also a great opportunity to meet other local parents in a fun, relaxed environment. This total body workout includes pelvic floor and safe core recovery, all while connecting with your little one. It’s no walk in the park!

Who is Kangatraining for?

 

Are you a parent of multiples? Realizing you deserve some classes for you too? Are you a first time parent that was active before baby and looking for a class to keep your movement and recovery up? Do you like to get out of the house everyday for your mental health?

KangaTrail, KangaMix, KangaSnow is for parents and babies that love walking, talking and exercising all at the same time! (Ok actually babies usually sleep through most of class!) These classes take you on trails with short exercise intervals that concentrate on your thighs, buttock, abdominals and your pelvic floor. It’s an effective way to increase your cardiovascular endurance while working on building strength goals.

Parents without a baby can also participant in KangaTrail, KangaMix, KangaSnow as it’s an ideal workout to get results. Classes happening in North Vancouver - Seymour area.

“I have enjoyed participating in Ana-Luz's KangaTrail and Kanga Snowshoe classes, since my little one was a snoozing infant cuddled up in my front carrier. Now that I have a talking, walking toddler on my back, we both still enjoy it! We absolutely love getting outside in nature, while exercising in the company of other parents and babies. Current Classes

Kangatraining classes can be booked per class session, or at a drop-in rate. If you have any questions please get in touch.

 

FAQs

  • You can begin Kangatraining once you have been given the “all clear” from your health professional to resume exercising postpartum. This can be anywhere from 6-10 weeks or slightly longer following a caesarean section.

  • We recommend the use of a Soft Structured Carrier (eg Manduca, Tula, ect) Meh Dai or woven wrap. Framed packs and stretchy wraps are not recommended

  • No Problem! We have carriers available to use to fit all bodies and babies. Please email us in advance to reserve a carrier.

  • No problem! Bring a buddy for free!
